Finally settled down

So I decided the best way to keep people posted on what i'm doing is to keep a blog, eww.  I'm finally settled down here on Lauretta Street in Mission Valley, San Diego (it's just north of the city and just east of Sea World and the beaches).  Got a decent 2 bedroom apmt. for $1145 a month plus utilities, which is very reasonable for this area.  Cali is expensive, everyone drives BMW's (like, 7 series) or Chrysler 300's with rims.  Bought a mountain bike on craigslist to ride to the beach (bout 20min.) and next purchase will probably be a surfboard.  Finally got our $50 dollar tv hooked up today and got our own wireless, seeing as tho we've been bummin' our neighbors for the last couple weeks.  This place doesn't feel like home yet, but i'm workin' with it.  The job hunt will start soon, depends on if I get this fat paycheck from fantasy football or not. haha.  Right now my main focus is exploring, enjoying the weather, and really living for the moment.  I've stopped paying attention to a lot of news, not like I did in Alta, Utah, but just enough to try to see things clearly for a little while.  The world is crazy right now, but right here and right now in California, things are ok.  I'll keep you posted. this is a blog afterall.

Brings back fond memories of days gone by. Tattooed in SD 10 yrs prior to your birth. Go to Balboa Park if you have not, don't go to Tijuana (you will). Never mind "don't drink the water", DON"T drink the Tekillya! You could end up on the business end of a .357, with a Mexican policia on the other end. And yes, the donkey show is a scam, trust me on this one.
